It is more and more to skip the extremely formal and conventional wedding in current times. His choice was moose tracks, a popular flavor composed of vanilla ice cream, peanut butter cups and a fudge swirl. The couple rented an ice cream cart where attendees could be served their flavor of choice for dessert. The very best element of this idea was the buffet line of toppings. Within another rented item, an ice cream cabinet, attendees could add as much or as little to their scoops as preferred. There were all varieties of candy, chocolate, nut and sprinkle toppings to pick from.

One may argue that this idea took away from the conventional cake cutting ceremony that occurs at weddings, but as previously pointed out, more and more, men and women are moving away from that variety. This couple had their own original ceremony in place of the cake cutting and got to appreciate their favorite dessert on their special day. Even though tradition is something to be carried on, there are certain parts of it that can be tweaked and made to be a lot more unique and special to each and every couple. Ice cream might not be a selection you would make for your wedding, but it is a fun idea and gets the creative juices flowing about creating your own special day.
